We're looking to hire Door to Door Canvassers in North Bay to communicate directly with the public about Ontario's renewable energy future:

Successful applicants will have the the following qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Good communication skills and a friendly manner.
• Highly self-motivated, positive and enthusiastic.
• Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods at a time.
• Speak, write and communicate in English.

No sales are involved. Canvassers will need to create accurate information from these contacts and exhibit tenacity, endurance and patience in their work.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining a courteous, neat, clean and professional appearance.
• Familiarity with, and being up to date on, Ontario's energy supply issues (training provided).
• Providing complete and accurate reports and feedback of canvassing results.
• Advising of anything they become aware of that could be important to improving the canvassing effort.
• Representing the canvassing effort at all times with the utmost degree of professionalism.
• Being a cooperative team player.

A commitment of twenty-four hours a week for six weeks is required. Canvassers will be paid at the rate of $10.25 per hour and will receive eight hours of paid training. No canvassing will occur on Sundays.
